371A Irish Stallion Farms EBF Academy H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Baby Pearl, trained by Henry de Bromhead, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.

371B Mervyn Gray Construction M'dn H'dle

The Raceday Stewards granted a request from Paul John Gilligan, trainer of Atlantic Gamble, for an additional ten minutes to present his charge for identification by an IHRB Official as per the provisions of Rule 90(i). However Atlantic Gamble was not presented in time and was therefore withdrawn by the Raceday Stewards.

The Raceday Stewards enquired into an incident at the middle hurdle in the back straight involving Richwood, ridden by J.P. Shinnick, Sense Of Occasion, ridden by M.P. Walsh, and Silent Guardian (GB), ridden by C. Brassil, where it appeared interference occured. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. M.P. Walsh stated that his mount was running keen when both horses came past him at the hurdle. C. Brassil stated his mount was running very keen and he was doing his best to restrain him. J P. Shinnick stated that his mount was keen and when Silent Guardian came past him it lit his mount up further. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards did not apportion blame to any rider and took no further action.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident close to the line involving Rathbawn Soldier, ridden by S.D. Torrens, Soldiers Lady, ridden by B.W. Harvey, and Thirsty Work (GB), ridden by P.T. Enright, where it appeared the horses made contact. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

At the request of the Raceday Stewards, J.J. Slevin, rider of City Of Cork, trained by Joseph Patrick O'Brien, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount ran well and nothing more to report.

S.D. Torrens, rider of Rathbawn Soldier, trained by Patrick T. Foley, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount raced freely in the early stages.

371D Tote Guarantee Navan Novice H'dle

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Port Authority, trained by Gordon Elliott, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be blowing hard and had a graze to the left fore canon bone post race.

371E Bective Stud, Tea Rooms H'cap H'dle

C. Stone-Walsh, rider of Ottizzini, trained by S.R.B. Crawford, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount jumped badly right throughout.

The Raceday Stewards reviewed an incident at the first hurdle in the back straight involving Ayiko (GB), ridden by J.J. Slevin, Ottizzini, ridden by C. Stone-Walsh, and Buachaillbocht (GB), ridden by S. O'Callaghan, where it appeared Ayiko was badly hampered resulting in the unseat of J.J. Slevin. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the matter, the Raceday Stewards were satisfied that it was a result of Ottizini jumping badly right and that no further action was warranted.

371F Download Tote App Foxrock H'cap S'chase

The Raceday Stewards granted a request from Eddie & Patrick Harty, trainers of Grandero Bello, for an additional ten minutes to present their charge for identification by an IHRB Official as per the provisions of Rule 90(i).

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Inthepocket (GB), trained by Henry de Bromhead, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to have lost his left hind shoe and had an over-reach to his right fore but to be otherwise post race normal.

D.E. Mullins, rider of Tullyhill (FR), trained by W.P. Mullins, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount got very tired after the second last fence and pulled up.

371G Watch Danny's Diary @ToteRacing Beg. Sch

The Raceday Stewards interviewed R.P. Treacy, rider of Angels Halo, trained by Mrs Julie Cashin, concerning his apparent failure to pull up when tailed off on a tired horse. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned who stated that he was planning to pop home on a lazy mare and when he saw Kopeck De Mee on the landing side of the final fence he quickly pulled up his mount inside the wings of the fence. Having viewed the recording and considered the evidence, the Raceday Stewards accepted the explanation and were satisfied that no further action was warranted.

371H Tote Always SP Or Better INH Flat Race

Mr D. McGill, rider of Fixios, trained by Noel Meade, reported to the Stewards' Secretaries that his mount stumbled and fell independently of any other horse inside the final furlong.

The Irish Horseracing Regulatory Board Veterinary Officer examined Fixios, trained by Noel Meade, at the request of the Raceday Stewards and reported the animal to be post race normal.
